Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

— William Morris

Our Ethos

Traditionally a carpenter would build the house, make the opening for a door, measure and make the door, fit it and fix the ironmongery.   Throughout my classical training this method has always been important to me to see the process through and also to uphold high levels of craftsmanship.  This involves care and respect for your tools and the materials you work with.

Craftsman - A person who is skilled in a particular trade or handicraft, especially someone who makes something by hand.
